As part of writing the Our Queerest Shelves newsletter for Book Riot, I keep a running list of upcoming queer book releases. Last year, I finally had the brainwave to move them into a separate tab after the release date instead of deleting them, so I wanted to share with you my list of more than 500+ sapphic book that came out in 2024, sortable and searchable by genre, release date, and representation. (Because no, not every sapphic book is an F/F romance: a sapphic book is any book with a sapphic main character.)
Despite that impressive number, this isn’t a complete list. It’s impossible for me to keep track of all the self-published books that come out, for example, and I’m sure I’ve missed even big releases or gotten some details wrong; this is just the notes I’ve been working with to create lists on Our Queerest Shelves.
So, without further ado, here is the link to my spreadsheet of the sapphic books of 2024. Feel free to make a copy and filter it however you’d like (for example, to only show the sci-fi books).

Bolded books should be by authors of colour, but again, please take this as rough notes.
